Library Foundation to Host Annual “Night at the Oscars” Event

The Newport Beach Public Library Foundation will host producer Robert Kline at its annual “A Night at the Oscars” event scheduled for Wednesday Feb. 20 at the Port Theater.
The program offers an insider’s look at the 2013 Oscar nominations and includes film clips from the year’s Best Picture nominees. The discussion will be led by Kline, who is a former longtime member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was executive vice president of 20th Century Fox and a co-founder of Lifetime Television.
The event costs $75, or $60 for Library Foundation members, and includes complimentary valet parking and a wine, Champagne and hors d’oeuvres reception.
The reception will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. and the program will follow.
